Landing Reenactment

Here are some images from the Landing Reenactment event at Washington Crossing State Park. Many people are familiar with the First Crossing and Christmas Day events at the Historic Park in Pennsylvania - where Washington entered the Delaware River.
All of us started there, and two photographers stayed there all day to cover the events in PA. In the meantime, one of us crossed the bridge into New Jersey and headed to Washington Crossing State Park.
In recent years, the New Jersey park has held an event to commemorate where Washington and his troops disembarked on their way to attack Trenton, New Jersey.
The event included demonstrations (cannon and musket fire, and formation drills), and presentations by living historians. We were expecting to see George Washington too, but poor river conditions didn't allow him to cross this year. But it was still a fun and informative event.
